I have so much work to do in this area; I think the best thing to do is to do a couple of tasks each day.

Household Checklist:
- clean dining room closet - DONE
- clean all light fixtures - DONE
- wash two windows & sills - DONE
- wash two blinds - DONE

Holiday Prep Checklist:
- buy Christmas stamps - DONE
- start baking - DONE
- kids finish their shopping - DONE
- pick up DD's gifts from DS - DONE
- wrap stocking stuffers - DONE

Good morning,

I decided to get all of my Household Checklist tasks done this morning and be done with it.

Now, I can focus on my Holiday Prep Checklist tasks for the rest of the week.

The kids went out this afternoon and finished their shopping, so all gift shopping is done!!

I started my baking this evening - I got two batches of fudge made.

DD's surgery is in 23 days!!!

All decorating is done!!! yippee!

Next weekend, if nothing else happens to change my plans, is baking and wrapping what I have.

Oh my ~ You guys are doing SO good. It is inspiring! i would LOVE to have my shopping done, but I won't even get the lists til Thanksgiving. I'm doing my best to it by bits and pieces though!

Dining Space Week (11/17/2014)

House:
Clean Dining Space -- DONE
Prep for Thanksgiving Day (Meal and Table settings)
Finalize table setting
Finish shopping for all non-perishables (and get FLU SHOT!)
Mop Floors

Holiday:
Black Friday Sales game plan. shoppers to spot the best deals days before Black Friday.
Plan Christmas party.
Take kids shopping for early wish list.
Sort the Stuffers into shoeboxes to gauge amounts

DD did some wrapping today. She isn't done yet, but it's a start.

Dug out my Christmas lockbox out of the attic (where I keep my stuffer stash) and took inventory. Decided I need another box so I'll have two.

On the way to the box was a blockade of summer camping gear so an hour later I had the attic completely cleaned out, and the Christmas wrapping box pulled out to bring downstairs to my "wrapping station". Very happy with myself!

I finally got stamps bought and they aren't even Christmas ones.

I HATE CANADA POST!!!!!!

Mel. I can never find Christmas stamps for overseas postage here in the US. I don't know why they don't sell them.

Well everything's ready here. I have to work next week so Monday I will start preparing some of my dishes for Thanksgiving. I don't want to be bogged down trying to get everything done on the day.

I also cleared away some of my fall decor making space for setting up food stations and so that I can jump right into putting up my Christmas decorations afterwards.

Doesn't Costco have Christmas stamps? You have Costco up there, right? That's where I got mine. Pretty Poinsettia ones. But I realized later they sold me a $50 package of them. :-O That is a LOT of stamps! My bill collectors will be seeing the leftovers ALL next year.

Plan Christmas party. -- UNDERWAY
Take kids shopping for early wish list. DIDN"T HAPPEN.
Sort the Stuffers into shoeboxes to gauge amounts -- STARTED. NEED ADDITIONAL LOCK BOX. BUT MY ATTIC IS NOW CLEAN.
