We have no plans for Memorial Day.

Monday-- Dust and straighten living room (dining room is in the midst of a transition so no point in trying to dust in there) :)
Tuesday-- Dust bedrooms
Wednesday-- Dr. Appointment, clean out fridge
Thursday-- Dust and straighten up school room
Friday-- vacuum house, to a quick pick up, maybe go garage saling
Saturday-- relax and go to a graduation party

I'm not going by a list this week. After 5 hours of deep cleaning over the weekend, I'm pretty good.

It's going to start getting crazy. My nephew graduates from H.S. Weds night 2.5 hours away and then Th. night my niece is graduating H.S. here.
Then I may go away for the long weekend.

The only thing I need to get done is:

*My bathroom on Tuesday
*Vaccuum

AnnieClaus -- going away for a long weekend sounds delicious -- ESPECIALLY after all the deep cleaning/decluttering you did this weekend. Thanks for the reminder about the bathroom duty on Tuesdays -- I may do one today, for a head start!

Cmerth -- the graduation party on Saturday sounds nice! You and AnnieClaus both have them this week! They are happy events! And -- remember Rudy Day tomorrow!

MrsSoup -- you're having company right before your move to the new house? Are they coming to help with the move?

Not much planned for this week (since we were supposed to be out of town.)

Monday: Five 30-minute paperwork decluttering sessions (goal left over from Sunday.)
Pay some bills.

Tuesday: Wash living room curtains & rehang.
Begin other laundry.
Get outdoor cushions from attic.
Work outside.
May Rudy Day
Dinner with dd and dgs

Wednesday: More laundry.
Paperwork.
Work outside as high temps permit
Errands
Order Wedding Gift from Crate & Barrel

Thursday: Work outside
Pick Up DGS At School
Dinner, Homework & Showers for dgs
Drive dd to appointment, take dgs to school
Work Outside In Early Morning
More paperwork

Friday: Memorial Day Weekend Begins
Work Outside.
Begin Organizing Clothes For Trip Next Week
More Paperwork

Saturday: Memorial Day Weekend
Work Outside.
Coffee & Bookstore date with dh
Whole house blessing

Sunday: Memorial Day Weekend
Work Outside.
7:30 Party

How is your week going? Does it feel like summer has arrived where you live? It has definitely arrived here! Hot and humid! Memorial Day Weekend looks relaxing and peaceful to me. A pot-luck picnic on Monday. Movies on TV. Being outside when/if it is cool. (Early morning?) Inside projects. Hopefully..... some belated May Rudy Day fun. I still haven't found the "safe place" where I stashed my Christmas Notebook!

Friday, I worked all day on decluttering paperwork. I was dangerously close to "burnout". This morning (Saturday), dh and I spent the morning at a bookstore, having coffee and checking out books & magazines. Dh bought a couple of new books. I do not feel "burned out" after that morning out! So -- I will alternate between a "whole house blessing" and some work outside.

SparkleNana - It's good that you recognize your burn out and deal with it. It's so hard to have momentum and then loose it for days or weeks on end because of burn out. Stepping out to a bookstore sounds like a fantastic way to relax and refocus. Thanks for reminding us of that important down time.
