Pamela and Debbie, YES....I'm going to see the home of Ree Drummond. That was my Christmas gift from my daughter and my husband and I'm so dang excited. If I'm honest, I started bawling like a baby. My daughter is paying for the hotel outside of town for multiple days and then my husband paid for a night in one of the fancy rooms at their Boarding House. Presentation was pretty cool too, because my daughter bought me the Mercantile "Christmas village" piece and my husband bought me the Boarding House piece. Totally my daughter's idea, but she wanted the presentation to be cool. We're talking about eating our way through the trip...haha We're gonna eat at all her restaurants including Charlie's Sweet Shop, The Mercantile of course, and P-Town pizza! Now the lodge tours are always a hit and miss, but I told her today I'm hoping because it's Spring Break time maybe she'll be gone or the kids will be coming home from college and that means they won't be taping the show. We'll see....I'll survive if I don't get to see The Lodge, but at the same time I'll be crying inside if I don't. The best part of touring the lodge is that the basset hounds live there a lot too. That's how I got addicted to the Pioneer Woman as a whole was because of Charlie the basset hound and then it was a lost cause after that for my daughter and I.
