White Lights or Colored?

White lights, colored lights or both? (if you have more than one tree!)

I put white lights in the middle of the tree and then colored lights on the outside branches.

I'm leaning towards coloured lights - I have always had those... but as I'll be getting new tree lights this year I will have to consider any new decorations as well. Not 100% sure yet

I like the colored ones, but at a after Christmas sale last year I bought 700 white lights, so this year going to put them on the tree and see how we like it!

I like white...dh prefers colors...so we have both on the tree. We do white lights on the house.

We're the same as Lisa. I love white and DH likes colored lights. We used to put both on the tree but we bought a pre-lit tree last year and I think it's colored lights. We do use white on the outside of the house and I like to put them around windows too.

I like the classic look of white lights, but I use a lot of colored lights for the kids.

Ive never done both on a tree I might try that this year. The main tree has white, blue on the boys, colored on a outside tree....

White lights for us. We even have a second white Christmas tree with white lights. The outside of the house has white ice sicle lights with small snowflakes on them too. I would like to add some colored ones somewhere, just need to figure out where.

My tree in the living room is white with white lights, my tree in the dinning room is green with color lights.
When and if I find one of the half trees that hang on the wall for my kitchen I will put red lights on it for my ginger bread men

I use white lights in all trees except for the grandchildrens room. I use colored lights on their tree.

I prefer white. Hubby prefers colored. Sometimes we do one or the other...sometimes we do both.

My main Christmas tree I decorate with all white lights. For the smaller trees I use multi-color lights. I switch every few years from clear to multi on the balcony and front door area.

I got the poll wrong! I was thinking outside lights which are always white but the tree has coloured lights.
