We live in interesting times. Every election year brings a fair amount of negative media and when you pile on events like the mass shootings in Orlando it is easy to get overwhelmed. One of my teenage daughters the other day, after discussing some of the heavy events in the news, observed, “I can see why you do Christmas every day, Dad.” It is a lesson we seem to be learning over and over here at My Merry Christmas.
