Winter Books for kids/teens

Here in Canada the winters can be brutal. Last year at this time, my kids (now 8 and 12) and I read Laura Ingalls "The Long Winter". I read it as a little girl and they were spellbound.

Do any of you know any other engaging and compelling books with a winter theme that we can read this year?
