I have been pretty consistent with riding the stationary bike during the days. Sometimes doing about 10 minutes and getting off to do a chore and then getting back on for another 10.

Yesterday, a friend and I did 6,684 steps around my neighborhood!!! :)

Nothing new in this department ... still trying to do some steps, bike, and cleaner eating .... also, some light weight resistance.

So. I am trying to move more. I did my YT stretching video with Denise Austin. Now, I have peddled for 17 minutes. Why is it so easy NOT to exercise? Sigh … I want to not be a slug!! So, here’s to keeping it going this year!
10 to 15 minutes a day is fine if it does not wear you out. 5 minutes is fine too. As time goes by you can increase. The best thing I learned from the Fibromyalgia workshop I attended was that I was trying to do too much when I felt better. Than I work do too much for the day which made me crash for two weeks. Baby steps. Walking is good too. Just one tiny exercise a day means you exercised daily!

Celebrate Me Day!

The 19th on the month is my DAY. And so that was yesterday ... I just did nothing. Which was good as I just had gotten home from a mini trip away with a friend which all about ME! :)

I think I feel better when I have less gluten. So, I have been making myself some protein veggie "bowls" and finding inspiration on YT with some gals I watch.

We had BLT salads for dinner. Very good. I put avocado in them, basil and sometimes cheese.

I have noticed that the less carbs I eat and drink, the more energy I have. I've cut out the oatmeal at breakfast that I use to have with Non-Fat Greek Yogurt. Now it's either a serving of Non-Fat Greek Yogurt or Low Fat Cottage Cheese with a small serving of fresh fruit. The fruit quenches the sugar craving.

I am making open faced sandwiches and using a fork and knife to eat it. I'm also doing that with wraps and soft shell tacos. It slows down my eating from years of child care where I ate a quick 5 minute meal.

Chewing gum and having Tic Tacs also is helping with the sugar cravings.

I believe I am feeling less water weight/bloating with less carbs. Feel lighter, more energy. :)

Yesterday, the 19th, was my Celebrate Me Day! But I will make today count as I went thrift store shopping and had lunch and coffee and a chat with my ‘second daughter’ this morning/ afternoon. Nice! :) And I got me a Christmas mug and PJ’s!

My Celebrate Me day ... 19th ... was nice to rest, have tea, crochet, and end the day with a fire pit hotdog dinner. Lovely weather out this evening!! :)
