Well, we are into a new month and one of the final months to really do our Christmas crafts.

The washer did really good this new way and only have 1 out of 13 that I am not pleased with. Now to do another one and then try the closure. They have to be to the lady by the 20th so would like to mail out by end of the week.

Also doing another craft to put with them.

I did receive the I spy material if I do decide to try the memory game. And my 2 1/2" mini tumbler template. Think I will do potholders, scrubbies and hanging towels for the girls at the beauty shop. Unless I do them a necklace.

Have the 2 stockings, baby doll quilt for great niece and 2 stockings to do.

Happy Crafting!!!

I sewed body parts toRaggedy Ann and am hoping to do more tomorrow. I need to get her stuffed. Did the planning for the American Girl club I will attempt to show the girls how to embroidery. Still have my quiet book to do. I do not have school on the 11th and hope to do a lot that day. I have the pages cut just need to get the design figured out and cut the pattern pieces.

Finished all 14 hair bows. Glad that that is done.
Got supplies for vintage felt hearts packed up so that when I am ready I can just grab the bag and start.
So much I still want to try.

Jamps ~ Thanks for sharing all your links. You have big plans!

Ahorsesoul ~ Love the wedding bouquet. Very original.

Miss JoDee ~ How old are the girls in the American Girl club? That must be very rewarding for you.

sweetpumkinpye ~ I like to get crafts kitted up and ready to go, too. Nice to get all the hair bows done.

I didn’t do any CCS last week but did finish up a knit doily and a knit dish cloth. The doily gave me fits and I know there’s one place that doesn’t look quite right. I’m hoping it will be acceptable when I starch it.

I also made 6 shutter panels for a guest room that we are getting fixed up. Will be working on a coordinating bed skirt this week and hopefully a wall hanging for that room. I’m making slow progress on the afghan for DH as well. If it’s not finished by Christmas (probably won’t be), I’ll wrap it as-is and continue with it after Christmas.

Busy time of year, I am not sure if I am going to get everything on my list done, but because they are not presents for anyone it should not be a problem. I would like to get a few more projects completed.

luludou ~ Your artwork is wonderful. I wish I had that talent.

Yesterday I made some progress on the afghan for DH and the bed skirt. There's so much sewing on the bed skirt. Two 6 yard strips of fabric. I got it cut and hemmed. Today I hope to do the gathering (with the ruffler foot on the sewing machine). Maybe I'll even get it sewn to the base fabric.
Edited to add: Bed skirt is done!

Thanks for the encouragement for the paintings... I do not think I'll be famous one day but as long as I do them for me they are ok.

Lana - Teigan is getting so big! Love the washer neclkace... you mod podge paper on them? or are they painted?
DD - great work on the bedskirt!

Keep on crafting... while we are crafting we don't get into mischief! ;)

Greetings!

Lana ~ The necklace is beautiful.

I got started on a knit ruffle skirt last night. I think it's going to be pretty cute. It's for DGD who is 5. I'm waiting for DD to let me know her measurements (skirt length and waist).

p.a., we LOVE for people to join in!!! Stain glass and pottery are nice hobbies. Love stain glass items. Your dgd has quite the treasure there, with the dolls.

Thank you for the comments on the necklace. I decided to shorten the length alittle. You mod podge the paper onto the washer and then a coat on top and then use Diamond Glaze. That is what I did. Several ways out there. Some use Glossy Accents over the top and not Diamond Glaze. Of course when I got down to the last few I got the bubble thing pretty well figured out BUT it is homemade and not perfect!!! I have some leopard print and few other papers I want to try also.

Finishing up an ornament to stick with the necklace and the swap items should be done.
