Every year I purchase a kit to create ornaments for the family, and every ornament has the individuals name on it - even the cat gets one :welcome:

Just reporting some progress. Seems like I'm in the middle of several projects on my list:

Advent calendars (2) are all but done [needed for Thanksgiving].

Mobius scarf idea has been scrapped. After I figured out how many DGF gifts I need, I decided to make Christmas coasters instead and I got them all cut out (5 sets of 4 ea) this morning.

I finally made the leap and started on the
felted clogs for DD. Would like to felt them to her feet at Christmastime. The pattern is intircate. I need to mark off every few stitches as I do them to keep track - kind of like cross-stitching!

I've divided up the steps to finalize my
Christmas cards. Although this isn't really crafting, I just wanted to get it down somewhere. Hope you don't mind.

I have gathered most of the materials for the
pinecone firestarters. I do need to check my supply of pinecones and see if I need to round up more. I haven't done this project before, so I'm not sure how many we will want.

That's about it for now.

Only working on one thing until it is done. It is too frustrating to work on this and other things at the same time. Only because I don't want to work on the cross stitch when I am doing something else.

I finished the Cat cross-stitch for the Advent Calendar. I also finished the Stocking cross-stitch, but it wasn't right for that purpose, so I will save it for something else. Checked my patterns and will make a Reindeer. I think it will be really cute, as it's front legs will hang over the edge of the pocket. I gathered up the supplies last night, so I'm ready to go again.

Got the
Virgin Island "Silent Night" cross stitches framed and all the coasters assembled and ready for sewing.

This morning, I'll knit a few more rows on the
felted clogs.

I'm movin' right along!

WTG DJ!! :applause:

I'm just making a quick post. I started one of the afghans left handed(I really should working on the dolls 1st  ) & it seemed like something wasn't right...don't know what or why  .... so after pulling it completely out the 5th time :slap: I decided to do it right handed & so far I have about an hour in on it. (I am right handed but learned left about 4 yrs ago because of carporal tunnel in my right wrist.)

I also made a mental note that all the Christmas gifts will be done right handed this year {I just hope they get done} ;)

Got in another 1.5 hours on afghan #1. Getting ready for powder puff football game tonight, DD17 is playing either tight end or right tackle.

Reporting in:

The first
felted clog is nearly completely knit. I have to join the inner and outer soles and then sew up the bottoms of both soles.

I have added an
LWR (Lutheran World Relief) Quilt top to my list to coincide with the " 'CAUSE " IT'S CHRISTMAS Crafters Challenge that I started on OC. So far I have 32 4-patch squares sewn up.

The cross stitching part of the
Rinndeer is done. Now I have to stiffen it, cut it out and adhere something else to it to go down into the pockets of the Advent Calendar. When it's done I'll post a picture so you can see what I'm talking about.

Christmas cards are signed and envelopes addressed (except for a few that I need to check on). I have put DH in charge of the Christmas letter/picture(s). We'll see what he comes up with. I'll have to do some editing and layout work on it when he's done.
