Just found this thread in time!

What a great gift it would make for dd or dil too, handing on family recipes and adding new ones for them to try.

Can't wait to start, it's such a brilliant idea :bigsnow:

Well, I'm almost two years late on this one, but better late than never. I had already thought about starting to type my recipes and making a recipe book for my children. Our local high school has a print shop and can bind them for me. Thanks for this thread.

Yes Melinda's dividers are the BEST!!!

I am planning a Recipe Project for January and February....You can choose to either work your way through

1. A Christmas Recipe Notebook,
2. A Family Recipe Notebook, or
3, Compile a CookBook Index Notebook (it uses pages where you search through your actual cookbooks and record the locations of favorite recipes and recipes you would like to try...) With so many cookbooks sometimes its madness trying to find a recipe.

We have such a great time ahead of us with the holidays but Jan and Feb can be so blah....something to look forward too. :) :)

I'm in. This actually goes right along with something I've been thinking about for awhile.

Yes, I agree it's madness.

It will be fun to look forward to that because I want to have a Thanksgiving/Christmas recipe notebook, but haven't done it yet!
