June declutter club

DH sold a big electronic device (no idea what it was... neither did he he had picked up on a hospital job... they were getting rid of it... brand new in the box.... if the guy doesn't come back because of battery (he knew about it), sold for 125$ yay!

Yesterday, I took another load of decluttered items from my friend who is moving this weekend and dropped it at the Humane Society. Done and Done!!

Ooh I can jump in for once!! I cleared out the bottom section of my pantry. It’s where I keep my tablecloths and other large items. I discovered a whole shelf of Christmas mugs I haven’t used in years as well as some decorations! I also took out about a million plastic forks and cups and napkins! Now it’s nice and tidy and I was even able to store my Ninja Foodie in it, which was my plan!
Then yesterday I cleared out the spice cabinet and bought new jars and labels today! I am so proud of myself!!! The lower cabinets are up next, then our bedroom closet.

I started going through the craft books, magazines and tear outs stored in the bookcase. I will donate quite a few. There was one knitting pattern that I use a lot so photocopied that pattern and donated the book. The church theme for July is craft/handmade goods etc so a perfect time to declutter the craft room.

Did a little in the craftroom and got a large grocery bag of craft items to donate. Took photos out of frames and will paint the frames when I get to the farm and make a family wall. A little decluttering which is always a good thing but also put things in their proper place which is good too.

I will be off later to help my friend's family move. My van will be filled with more donations from her and I will haul it away!

Went to one of the local STOP turn ins today. Tossed paints, aerosols and some papers to be shredding.

Sent dh off with two SUV loads of cardboard boxes that seem to multiply in the basement.

I bought a few items home from the farm to go to the church next week.

Finally got 2 items taken back to Lowes and 1 to Menards. So those boxes are out of here.

I am crocheting some knee blankets to donate to the church fete. Will help use up all the wool that I have so I don't need to move it next year.

Items back to Hobby Lobby so 2 sacks gone.

Sorted thru 2 boxes of pictures and old documents from Aunt Imogene's. Lots to trash, a pretty good size box to send to a cousin in Kentucky and a box that I will resort and separate the pictures back to my 2 sisters. I had a few set aside to side to another cousin but I think mixed in with mine.

You are all an inspiration. My decluttering is a bit different as it's all coming out of totes that have been in storage for 1040 days (since the multiple hurricanes in 2020). We are finally moving into the new house and I am adamant about only bringing in what is necessary, what is loved and what is used and not a toothpick more. Although it's all been in climate controlled storage alot of it was hurriedly put into totes between hurricanes and the sheer dampness caused issues so out it goes. Living in a camper for 3 years really shows you how little you actually need.
