next Christmas

It's going to be hard next Christmas.My dad had a stroke om Christmas eve after we had pizza with my 10 yr old and they brought our presents.Christmas morning they did brain surgery to stop bleeding.He's been on a ventilator since then.He has Cirrhosis and it's going to be any day now.I've been devastated I'm the oldest and both of us are daddy's girls.My sister is on her way home from ft hood my bil is army.My mom just lost her mom 6 months ago.My parents would have been married 39 yrs in April(together since my mom was 19).I know he wouldn't want me to greive too long

It is hard. I lost my dad 4 days after Christmas 4 yrs ago yesturday. I was the only girl of his three children. People tell me it gets easier but not sure.

Thanks everyone for the love and support.I'm glad he got to see Mya.I have one picture of him holding her the day we brought her home.He waited for her.He's been so sick and weak the last 2 years.
