25., 26., 27. - Falling Skies by Harley Tate - another post apocalyptic dystopian tale from one of my favorite authors. The family first confronts a meteor, then a tyrannical military compound and then a cult of religious fanatics. What is coming in book 4??????

I have some catching up to do since this is my first post in this year's challenge. My goal for 2022 is 52 and I'm currently at 19.

1/52 Dear Santa by Debbie Macomber
2/52 The Secret Wife by Gill Paul
3/52 The Lieutenant's Nurse by Sara Ackerman
4/52 Island of Sweet Pies and Soldiers by Sara Ackerman
5/52 The Riviera House by Natasha Lester
6/52 The Poppy Wife: A Novel of the Great War by Caroline Scott
7/52 The Other Side of the Coin: The Queen, the Dresser and the Wardrobe by Angela Kelly
8/52 The London House by Katherine Reay
9/52 Coming Home by Rosamunde Pilcher
10/52 The Paris Library by Janet Skeslien Charles
11/52 The Book of Lost Names by Kristin Harmel
12/52 The War Nurse by Tracey Enerson Wood
13/52 The Girl Who Came Home by Hazel Gaynor
14/52 Last Christmas in Paris: A Novel of World War I by Hazel Gaynor
15/52 The Exiles by Christina Baker Kline
16/52 The Stolen Lady b y Laura Morelli
17/52 The Point of Light by John Ellsworth
18/52 The Magnificent Lives of Marjorie Post by Allison Pataki
19/52 The Velvet Hours by Alyson Richman

Lots of good titles here if you like the World War I/World War II genre. The only fail so far was #17 The Point of Light, terrible writing, I just couldn't wait for it to end.

I'm currently on a re-read from 2020 that I picked up at the library not realizing that I'd read it before. My reading time is limited to my lunch hour and on the bus ride home so I need to pick some thinner books if I'm going to meet my goal! Some of this year's selections so far have been pretty thick books.

29, 30. Tara Ellis and Mike Kraus - After the Crash and The Collapse - How the SD community of Redemption fares after all technology disappears. The disappearance also seems to involve some returned residents.
