snickerdoodle, the Cricut will cut stencils out of contact paper to be used to do glass etching with Armour Etch paste. Very easy, fast and can be very economical for gifts.

Wow the cricut for cake decorating is really interesting. Those cakes are beautiful. I hope to do some of the etching. You're right, those would make great gifts! Can't wait to get started.

I'm looking for a washclothe pattern that can be done on the Knifty Knitter. I'd like to make some for Christmas and add a nice bar of soap with them...My mom's birthday is in Feb. might do her the washclothe or a scarf. The washclothe/soap would be better as she doesn't get out alot.

Becky that is quite the list you have there...

Start with this one. The rest will follow. If you put this one off for the end, the others may not get done either.

I'm thinking of making some mittens again for the ones I didn't make for this year. They turned out cute. I may also do the crochet towel toppers with matching dish rags and scrubbie sets.

I think all women are like this. We do for others but not for ourselves. If we'd do for ourselves first we would have more energy to do for others. Please post a photo when you get it done. I'd love to see it.

Almost at the end of my rope
snowqueen, I like your tote-to-tote idea! I have a box with projects in it, but it seems to be "out-of-sight, out-of-mind"! My current list of projects is:

finish scarf for sister
finish scarf for harp teacher
finish mohair-from-hell scarf for mother
finish afghan for nephew (and one for his brother!)
finish quilted throw for son
finish sweater for me, which keeps being moved to the bottom of the pile

Am I the UFO queen, or what??

Lana did you get the instructions for the quilted scarve? It looks fairly easy.

Good job Christmasrose
