My copy of The Snowglobe came in from the library. How does everyone do their CIJ reading - a chapter a day or whenever you have time? I have a suggestion for next year - Finding Father Christmas by Robin Jones Gunn, it was a lovely story for the holidays. It also has a sequel, Engaging Father Christmas, which was just as heart-warming.

PamelaG-Last year we all read the book in whatever time frame worked best for each person and then on the last day of July, I posted discussion questions thread.

This year maybe a chat??? In the Christmas Chatter room.

IF it's a short easy read maybe we can shoot for an earlier date to be finished and then have a discussion on the boards and shoot for a few (b/c people may miss one of them) in the chat room as well.

I did a little research on Christmas Chatter and I see that it's a forum under Magical Inspiration. I see the 2010 schedule and I think I've found the link - can't wait for the 2011 schedule. Thanks for letting me know about it - I'm still navigating my way around this site!

our library doesn't have it.. Need to decide if I want to get it at a bookstore or for my ereader. It's $10 there. Maybe I'll check w/ my SIL if she has it first. She reads a lot and keeps her books.

I couldn't believe Am-azon has the Kindle version for almost $10, it's an ity bity book. On ebay some used one are $1 (with $3.99 shipping) up to $11 for new.

Allen picked up the Snowglobe last night and I have about 40 left. I was wondering what was taking it so long to get and she called last night and said she left a message a couple of weeks ago. Told her believe it or Allen was going to stop by and check when he went to town. I am enjoying it.

I was just coming on here to post the same thing. It was $10 for my border reader and everyone said they read it so fast I didn't want to pay that much. Off to buy one off e-bay now.

just bought one on Ebay for $5 shipped. Now to wait for it to show up. But sounds like it will be a quick read.

Christmas in July-The Snowglobe

Hi Ladies, Yes, I'm voting for Snowglobe. My Library just got it in, and was so happy I didn't have to order it. Started Sat.7/2 and I'm up to pg.66 already. It's a great, cute, short,
easyread and very enjoyable. Just wanted to let you know. Maybe I'll finish it this weekend. I Highly Recommend it. Just let me know when the discussion is so I can join in also. She is a great Author, Sheila Roberts

Mine has been shipped so should be here soon.

Michelle wish I could send you mine when I am done. Not sure how much it would cost me to mail it across the water...
