Happy Rudy Day ladies.

I just got through patting myself on the back at OC for having all my crafting done for this year. So I come over here and now I'm going to rescue the yarn from my car (it was on its way to the Charity shop) and will knit the kids scarves. That will be my "New List" for a new begining. I will miss OC dreadfully but will enjoy being here when we officially move. Ho Ho Ho :grin:

Here are the placemats (one is rolled up): http://tinyurl.com/2gfovd I'm surprised at how quickly they went together.

I finished up the
prayer shawl this morning.

More later!

DJ love the placemats.

I have been working on scarfs again. Haven't touched my moms cross stitch but may just put off until next year since we will have a new baby in the family at the end of next summer.

So have to think of something else for my mom.

jackfrosty ~ I'm looking forward to seeing the purses!

In case you didn't see it on OC, here's a picture of the Bowdabra
bow I made today for my garland: http://tinyurl.com/2ssk2l It's the first one I've made. DH is really impressed!

I finished the
scarf for DD#1 and had enough yarn left that I made a hat to go with it. Now I'm working on another moebius scarf for ME (from one I made before and frogged). Hope this one turns out about half the size.

I thought I had the
Whisks done, but now I need 4 more. That's not bad except for the fact that we are attaching a $20 bill to them, so that's another $80!

GREAT BOW I love blue! I have like 34 reindeer food to do. I take them to co-workers for their kids and grandkids, my daughters BF mom teaches 1-2 graders so do them for her, and then our family. Have to do a whisk yet too. They would like a $20 I am sure but are getting kisses--maybe peanut butter cups.

Greetings!

I did finish the
moebius scarf for ME, and I think I'm going to like wearing it. So glad I frogged the first one and tried again. Makes me think I might make them for DGFs for Christmas 2008. I am now working on the "last" scarf for DSonIL. He's a big guy, so I need to make it longer. Went to get more yarn yesterday.

I bought a few more
Whisks and will try to finish those up so I can get them delivered to the assisted living residence.

And all
Christmas cards are in the mail.

*Virgin Island cross-stitches [Thank you to Julie - gift for Karen]
+Wrap 1 for mailing
++Mail

*Whisks (4 more) [For staff at DM's assisted living residence]
+Get cash to attach
++Assemble
+++Deliver
*Glass Blocks [For ME! UFO from a couple years ago - holes are drilled, just need picture, bow and lights!]
